Hertha Berlin !! Football stadium in Germany.

  As you know, Germany is very famous for football league “Bundesliga”. And the national team of Germany was the champion of the world cup soccer 2014. So I’m very interested in soccer also. Today I’d like to talk about the soccer stadium in Berlin and how to go there and how to buy the ticket.

1      Hertha BSC

Hertha BSC is one of the team of Bundesliga in Germany. The team is based in Berlin, established in 1892. Hertha put up a good fight this season, the team is in 5^th place as of 6^th May.

2      Olympia-Stadion

The stadium is used as the home ground for Hertha BSC. It was originally built for the 1936 Summer Olympics.2015 UEFA Champions League Final took place in the stadium.

3      How to go there

It is very easy to go there. If you are a tourist, it’s very convenient to stay in hotel near the “Zoologischer Garten”. Actually there are many great hotels near the station. Anyway you can get on the train “U2” bound for “Olympia Stadion” or “Ruhleben” from Zoologischer Garten. It takes about 20 minutes to the station “Olympia Stadion”. When you go to the stadium to watch the game, you can see many people who wear the uniform of Hertha BSC. That’s why you can ask them how to go there.

5      How to buy the ticket

Near the Zoologischer Garten, you can find “Europa Center” easily. Many kinds of shops are in the Europa Center, and you can find Hertha BSC fun shop. In the shop, you can buy the ticket like this. I bought the ticket “Hertha vs Dortmund”. Dortmund is very strong and popular team. So the price of ticket was a little bit expensive (59 €). As you know, Shinji Kagawa belongs to Dortmund. I support him also.

Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany How to go there.

      Today I’d like to explain about  How to go to “Neuschwanstein Castle” and  
     How to enjoy “Neuschwanstein Castle”.

      Last month I visited “Neuschwanstein Castle”. The castles in some Disney land are said to be on the model of “Neuschwanstein Castle”.

　

1     How to go to the Neuschwanstein Castle

          In my case, I stayed in the hotel in Füssen, the name of the hotel was “Luitpoldpark-hotel”. The hotel is near the Füssen station. You can take the bus bounding for the castle in front of the station. That’s why it was very convenient to go to the castle. 
          The buses you take are "73", "78","9606", "9651". These buses leave the Füssen station once per hour. So you should check the time. In the bus, you can buy the return ticket for the bus. One way ticket costs 2.10 Euro. It takes about 15minutes from the station to "Hohenschwangau"by bus. You get off the bus stop. The hotel staffs know how to go to the castle, you can ask them. You don’t need to be worried about it.

          

2     Ticket for the Neuschwanstein Castle

           If you want to go into the castle, you have to buy the ticket. 

           To buy the ticket, you can make an online reservation in advance, and print out the 

           reservation page after that, you take the paper to the ticket center on the day.

           I recommend you to make a reservation, if you want to go into the castle.
           
          The castle is very popular around the world, so sometimes crowded with lots of tourists.

           If you don’t make a reservation, you have to line up for the ticket long time. 
          According to my colleagues, it takes about 1,5 hours without reservation to buy ticket.

　　　　

       ※If you make a reservation, the time for going into the castle is written on the paper. Please attention the time. After the time printed on the ticket, you can’t go into the castle.

3     Road to the castle

After you buy the ticket at the ticket center, you go to the castle. Then you have 3 ways to go to the castle.

①　Walk
      You have to walk about 30 minutes to the castle. 
      The road is slope, so, if it is summer, you should have some drinks.

②　Shuttle bus

      It is very convenient, comfortable.
      It costs 1.80 Euro (to the castle), 1 Euro (from  the castle) 
      The return ticket costs 2.6 Euro.

③　Two horses and carriage 
     It seemed to be very nice !! It worth trying it.
     It costs 6 Euro (to the castle), 3 Euro (from the castle)

As I said above, if you are not in time for going into the castle, you can’t go into the castle. Please pay attention to the time.

4     The scenery

The scenery were very amazing. You can enjoy the scenery on the way to the castle. Don’t miss it.

Rhine River Cruises (Loreley) ship information and Cologne Germany

Today I'd like to show you information about Cologne City and the Rhine River Cruises in Germany. I hope the information would be useful for you someday. Through my blog, you could have some useful information about Cologne and Rhine River Cruises, I hope.

As you know, Cologne is one of the most famous city Germany. There are many sightseeing spots in Cologne, Germany. Of course, I can't give you all of information about Cologne and Rhine River Cruises information only one time. Today I show you some pictures(Cologne Cathedral and Rhine River Cruises). If you have fun, I would be very happy.

1      Cologne City in Germany

Cologne is very famous for the Cologne Cathedral. ↓

Cologne Cathedral is very easy to go from the Cologne station.

Many tourists visit the Cologne Cathedral.

I think many people were impressed with the Cologne Cathedral.

The Cologne Cathedral is one of the world heritages in the world. If you visit Germany, I recommend you to watch the Cologne Cathedral. It is worth visiting. And it is adjacent to the Cologne station, that’s why you can find it very easily. On the day, I stayed in the hotel near the station. When I was in Cologne, it was summer. That’s why I recommend you to stay in hotel with air conditioner, if you go there in summer. There are some hotels without air conditioner in the area. So you should check it, when you book hotel in summer. In my case, it was very hot, and no air conditioner, so, I opened the window at night. But it was very noisy outside. I remembered I couldn't sleep well on the day. 

2      Rhine River Cruise

After the visit of Cologne Cathedral, I went to the Rhine river cruise on the next day. During the Rhine River Cruise, you can enjoy the amazing scenery along the river.Of course you can see the very famous rock, "Loreley".

A  How to go there

        In my case, I got on the train bounding  for “Koblenz” at the Cologne station. And I changed the train at the Koblenz station. And I got on the train bounding for “St.Goarshausen” at the Koblenz station. The port for the Rhine River Cruise is near the St.Goarshausen station. You can arrive there in a few minutes.

   B  How to get on ship

         I recommend you to book the cruise on the internet before you go there. In my case, I reserved the cruise before I go there. Because it was summer season, many people took vacation. I booked “KD Rhine” on the internet. It was very nice ! http://www.kdrhine.com/

　      I got on the ship at the St.Goarshausen port. The ship was very comfortable. The fee of the ship was about 44 Euros.(Between St.Goarshausen and Bingen) It depends on the distance.

       　It was marvelous !! Especially when I saw the “Loreley” , I was very impressed.

         You can see “Loreley” just after the St. Goarshausen on your left hand. Don’t miss it. In addition to it, you can see many old castle along the river.

   D  The other information

          It took about 3 hours to go to Bingen from St.Goarshausen. After getting off the ship, I got on the train at the station near the port.

Japanese food recipe (Teriyaki 2)

   Today I’d like to tell you how to cook Teriyaki sauce, Teriyaki chicken rice..

   Last time I told you we can buy it in the Asian supermarket. But you can cook it easily in your house.

1      How to cook Teriyaki sauce

First of all, you have to prepare for these ingredients as follows.

①    Soy sauce 100ml

②    Three tablespoon of honey

③    A teaspoon of sugar

You cook these ingredients about 3 minutes. That’s it !! Very simple.

2      How to cook Teriyaki chicken rice

a    You prepare for chicken meat and cut it and put the teriyaki sauce on the meat.

 

b     You fry these meat on frying pan with the sauce above.

c       You put these meat and “Japanese nori”and Teriyaki sauce on the rice.

And just eat it !!!

Japanese food recipe (Teriyaki)

  Today I’d like to show you some Japanese food and recipe.

  Although these are not so difficult to cook, they are very delicious !!

  If you have time, I recommend you to try it !!

A  Teriyaki-Salmon-rice (Fried salmon with teriyaki sauce on rice)

1    What is the food ?

First of all, the dish is not so difficult to cook. You can imagine it very easily after you read the title of the dish. You put grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce on rice.

That’s it !! But the taste of the dish is wonderful.

 

2    How to cook

Before you cook it, you have to prepare for some ingredients as follows.

・Teriyaki sauce (You can buy this in supermarket.)

   

・Toasted laver (“Japanese nori”)

・Salmon fillet

 

・Small cut green onion

・Grated Japanese radish

・rice

a.    You cut Salmon fillet like this. ↓

              

b.    You put Teriyaki sauce on the salmon fillet. ↓

 

            c.     You cook the salmon in frying pan. ↓

d.    You put the Teriyaki sauce and “nori”on rice.

 

e.     You put the fried salmon fillet, small cut green onion and grated japanese radish on the rice. 　　　　　　　　　　　　　↓

3  How to eat 

    Just eat it !!  The taste is very nice.  Please try it !!

Hiroshima City (Hiroshima sweets)

  Today I’d like to explain about “Sweets” in Hiroshima.

  I think you have ever heard “Momiji-manjuu” sweets. It is the most popular sweets in Hiroshima, and there are many people in the other prefectures who know “Momiji-manjuu”. When I go back to Hiroshima, I buy many Momiji-manjuu as souvenir for my friends and colleagues sometimes.

1      What is “Momiji-manjuu” ?

I think you have a question as follows. What do the words “Momiji” and ”manjuu” mean ? “Momiji” means maple. “manjuu” means Japanese style sweets stuffed with sweetened bean paste. (But actually there are many kinds of “manjuu” in Japan. So I can’t explain about all kinds of “manjuu” today. I’m sorry・・・. ) That’s why the shape of Momiji-manjuu is maple, and it is stuffed with some sweet ingredients.

The taste is amazing !! If you visit Hiroshima, please try it. In some Momiji-manjuu shops in Hiroshima, you can eat fresh baked Momiji-manjuu.

There are many kinds of Momiji-manjuu in Hiroshima aside from the above.

It costs about 1 Euro. (←It depends on the rate.) I think it is not so expensive.

How to go to Japan, Kyoto

  Yesterday I talked about a great professional baseball player “Kenta Maeda”. His career as the professional baseball player started in Hiroshima Toyo Carp. But actually he was born in Osaka. As you know, Osaka, Kyoto are in the Kansai area. Recently some friends asked me how to go to Japan, especially Kyoto. Kyoto is a very beautiful city, and there are many temple and shrine. If you are interested in Japanese culture, I recommend you to visit Kyoto. That’s why I‘d like to show you how to go to Kyoto.

1      From Haneda Airport in Tokyo

If you want to visit not only Kyoto but also Tokyo, it’s better to arrive Haneda Airport from the Airport in your country. Haneda Airport is the very convenient and very beautiful, and there are many restaurants and souvenirs shops. So after arriving you can enjoy shopping. In addition, many airport staffs can speak English, but I’m not sure if the staffs in souvenir shop can speak English or not.

Anyway how to go to Kyoto from Tokyo is as follows.

    A  You get on Tokyo Monorail from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsu-cho.

    B  At Hamamatsu-cho station you transfer to Yamanote line (Uchimawari).

        I think many people can understand the meaning of the word “Uchimawari”

        You don’t have to be worried about it. You can ask it.

        “Uchimawari wa doko desuka ?” ←　Where is Uchimawari ?

    C   From Hamamatsu-cho you go to the Tokyo station, and get on Shinkansen.

        But Shinkansen express fee is a little bit expensive. (←from Tokyo to Kyoto about 13,000 Yen( about 100 €)).

    D   It takes under 3 hours to go to Kyoto by Shinkansen. Shinkansen is very comfortable.

2      From Kansai Internatinal Airport in Osaka

This way is very easy to understand. You can find “Kansai kuko station” very easily at the Kansai Airport.

From the station you can get on “Haruka”express. The train is very comfortable and you can have some space for your suitcase. The train goes to the Kyoto station directly. That’s why it’s easy to go to Kyoto.
